This time we are going to enjoy the construction of a set from the Speed Champions line. The 76920 Ford Mustang Dark Horse set. It is a set with 344 pieces, a cost of 26,99€ and of course a driver minifigure with a very interesting torso and hair. Looking at the box of the set you can't see how the front bonnet has been built. If you take a look at the LEGO website you can see more of the interesting construction that awaits us. Of course this LEGO line is an excellent line that is really delighting fans of the brand and of course of replica cars.

Contents are 4 bags, instruction manual and a sticker sheet.

A cool pilot and an explosion of ideas in the form of a new reference.

Let's start the construction. As always this line makes my head spin with the millimetric technique of the designers. Impressive how they have adjusted the headrests to the armchairs. The doors that use the new references shown before you can see how good the external shape is and the technique is very good as they are only supported by a single stud.

Here are some new references.

We continue to build the rear end. Look how the Ford exhaust pipes are positioned, they are a delight. But the rear end is crazy. I'm amazed at how the pieces of the reference 6470262 are, they are inverted but their normal angle is completely horizontal with the rear bonnet. To say great is an understatement!

Again other old printed references to something new. Grilles. Here the ingenuity comes from the way the headlights are positioned. A picture is worth a thousand words. And we thought that the reference 6285587 together with a 1x1 brick round was only good for making ice cream, didn't we? :D

To finish off the vehicle we will put tiles on the bonnet, the cockpit of the pilot and co-pilot and the under skirts with inverted 1x8 tiles.

In only 4 bags everything a LEGO fan can find, millimetric techniques and pure ingenuity. If you really want to enjoy LEGO you can do it with almost any set, but if you choose one of the Speed Champions you will be sure to enjoy it 1000%. This set is fantastic.
