Set Review ➟ LEGO® 75401 Ahsoka's jedi interceptor
We are back after a break with this small Star Wars set, set 75401, suitable for ages 8+, featuring Ahsoka's interceptor accompanied by her master Anakin and the R7-A7 droid. The set has 290 pieces and costs £44.99, which makes it somewhat expensive.
As usual, let's take a look at the contents. Three bags, a manual, and a sheet of stickers. Let's get started!
Well, let's take a look at the first figure, Ashoka. The detail that the legs are movable and child-sized is appropriate. I like it. However, the mould for the “hair” is identical in size and volume to that of adult Ashoka sw1354, but not the printed design, thankfully. Comparing this piece with the adult Ahsoka minifigures sw1096 and sw1300, we can see that they are also different moulds. Be that as it may, it's another pretty cool version of Ahsoka.
The spacecraft begins with its central part, the cabin. It has no noteworthy technology, everything is easy to implement and robust.
R7-A7's turn. Another cool droid for the collection :). The lime colour on the head and torso really looks great.
Let's continue with the left wing. The truth is that they are very consistent in their construction, allowing the droid to be inserted completely, unlike on other occasions where we have seen that only the head was inserted :).
Fantastic, Anakin! The back of the torso is also printed. I love the figure!
To finish, we ‘cloned’ the right wing of Ashoka's ship, and now it's complete. We can now take it for a few test flights to see if the ship is manoeuvrable or not.
Although we don't intend to compare them with other old sets, it's undeniable that some of them come to mind... Which one do you like best? :)
