Set Review ➟ LEGO® 11208-Team Spidey pirate ship

This set is a real gem, there’s no doubt about it. The Spidey team in a… pirate format? That’s right: a set with just 201 pieces and a price of €49.99, available from January 2026.

The contents of the set are minimal: just a few bags and some loose pieces… oh, and of course, a black mast!

Here you have the Green Goblin in pirate form. What do you think of the torso? By swapping the arms and the head, you can make a very cool pirate. Take a look at the pieces that simulate the shots: they look like rivets, and I’d say that’s exactly what they are.

This section has everything needed to delight younger children, with its tower and flag, its bridge and a slide!

Spidey’s ship is very cool but doesn’t have anything particularly noteworthy from a technical point of view—of course, we’re talking about a 4+ set. Even so, it has everything: a cannon with projectiles, a sail, and, no less important, a bit of space. The side panel with that printed character really caught my eye; it feels more at home in a space setting.

The upper part of the ship comes together in the following steps: the helm, some food and drink as decoration, and a fish on a hook—and of course Spin Morales with his arachnid-pirate outfit, plus Trace-E.

Without a doubt, a well-made set for younger ages. Simple, sturdy and certainly very eye-catching for children—and perhaps not-so-young ones as well.

We would like to thank the LEGO Group for providing the set for this review, although LEGO does not endorse or support the opinions expressed here, as they are solely our own.
