Set Review ➟ LEGO® 75449 - Siege of Mandalore battle pack
This small set evokes the final days of the Clone Wars overlapping with the events of Episode III, Revenge of the Sith. A set with 116 pieces, 4 minifigures and designed for ages 6+.
A modest amount of content, but one that will surely bring us many moments of enjoyable play.
The minifigures are beautiful. As this line has accustomed us to, they are little treats for fans of the theme and especially for collectors. Two of them have already appeared in previous sets, but the other two are new and very appealing. A refreshed and, in my opinion, successful version of the Mandalorian Super Commandos – especially for those who enjoy building large battalions!
The construction of the Mandalorian speeder is very simple and does not feature any particularly intricate or unusual techniques. The sides use brackets, after which it is just a matter of adding slopes and a few extra details. Without a doubt, a straightforward build and, as always, an entertaining one. On the other hand, there is that sort of clone barricade. I love the simplicity and the use of the grille together with the mounted, movable cannon. Very simple, yet at the same time so playable! Without a doubt, a very small but very cool set that provides great fun for the little ones – and for grown-ups too!
